Lucille Ball

Lucille Dsire Ball was an American actress, comedian, model, film studio executive and producer. She was best known as the star of the self produced sitcoms I Love Lucy, The LucyDesi Comedy Hour, The Lucy Show, Heres Lucy and Life with Lucy.

Born in Jamestown, New York, Lucille Ball was the daughter of Henry Durrell Ball and Dsire DeDe Evelyn . Following her fathers death from typhoid fever at agein 1915, her family and she moved to nearby Celoron, and lived there with her grandparents. She sometimes later claimed that she had been born in Anaconda, Montana.
